We love pies, but we think they are even more memorable and elegant when served up in one of our luscious tart crusts. Our cheesecakes are dense and creamy New York-style pies in shortbread or cookie crumb (never graham cracker) crusts that complement the fillings. As of Fall 2014, our tarts and cheesecakes can be special-ordered gluten-free--we use selected nut meals in place of flour--ask us for details and pricing!
Kentucky High Day Tart
The lore goes that this rich dense tart get's its name from Derby Day, but you can eat it any time! It combines the goodness of buttery crunchy pecans with bittersweet chocolate and a hint of Kentucky bourbon and is baked in a chocolate cookie crust. This is best served in small wedges, garnished with fresh whipped cream (and a sprig of mint if you want to be very "Derby").

Key Lime Tart
This new and improved tart is even creamier and silkier than our original and we think is the best you've ever tasted! The zesty flavor of fresh limes and unsweetened key lime juice is combined with a light and creamy, not-too-sweet custard, baked in a vanilla cookie and pecan crust, topped with cool smooth Greek yogurt sweetened with a touch of organic agave, and garnished with fresh lime zest. Our seasonal fruit tarts (Strawberry-Rhubarb, Peach, Apple, and Sweet Potato) are made from organic fruits in season and layered over delicious creme patisserie, served in a shortbread crust. Apple, Pecan). Or call us to place a special order. We make our flaky crusts from
scratch (from organic butter and vegetable shortening, never lard) and deliver our
pies in ready-to-serve recyclable pans.
